I used these after ankle surgery that required me to used crutches for 4 weeks. While using crutches for an extended time is never fun or enjoyable, these made the 4 weeks at least tolerable. The gell held up very well and stayed comfortable the whole time. These pads are light-weight and definitely protect underarms and hands.
